hy!
do you now,is it okey to juggle on the streets of Amsterdam!? will i have a
problem with cops!!?
is anybody have some experiance,with thath?

If you want to do a street performance, you need a permit/licence and you
cannot perform anywhere and anytime (for instance not at certain busy
areas). These permits can be purchased at various city-offices in
Amsterdam.

see www.amsterdam.nl (although I don't know whether the full info is there
in English).

if it is just for fun, I think you can juggle pretty much anywhere in
Amsterdam (they may ask you to move, if they judge you to be obstructing
the flow of traffic or so).

It is not really a good timing for festivals, but you can have lots of fun in the Vondelpark.

The Vondelpark is definitely a fun place to juggle.

Every day I juggled there I ran into at least one other juggler, including
Fred (Codfish) who posts on rec.juggling sometimes. (Hey Fred - thanks for
your help on the exploding sprinkler and three diabolos high!)

Juggling there in the evening with the drunks and the druggies can get a
bit interesting though! ;)

but also go to the park that is in front of the van gough museum its very
nice and sometimes you have less people that in vondelpark and it is
nearer that vondelpark but go to both specially if you have a bike... i

Funny, I haven't gone on rec.juggling for about 1 month and I don't know
why I click on the post called amsterdam :)

So thank you, it was nothing. And I didn't see you at the EJC :-( Why
didn't you come ? Anyway if I come back in Holland one day I will send you
an e-mail..

And for the subject of the post, I never had any problems juggling in
Amsterdam (or anywere in Holland), except maybe some balance ones :)

So thank you, it was nothing. And I didn't see you at the EJC :-( Why
didn't you come ? Anyway if I come back in Holland one day I will send
you an e-mail..

I live in Canada but I was travelling around Europe at the time. Amsterdam
was my last destination. If I had the money I would have stuck around for
EJC. I really wish I had been there.

My 3 diabolos low and high (petit et grand carrousel) is slowly getting
better. I'm up to 30 throws high now.

If all goes well I'll see you at EJC next year!
