How to start with 3 diabolos?

Hi,

does someone know how to start with three diabolos? I can play many tricks
with two of them.

Now i want to learn how to juggle with 3.

Every Tip is welcome (video or tutorial)

the easiest start i think assuming your right handed is to take the sticks
in your left hand as if doing two in one hand but don't speed them up then
keep this hand stationary the diabolos will rotate in smaller and smaller
circles take the last one and throw it up then take the stick back in your
right hand and catch the decending diabolo about three inches below the
stick. this has to be done in a quick sepenuce but its the most reliable
for learning

I think low is as difficult as high (i've spent about 6-7 month for 3low
then for 3high before to have them well) but the advantage of 3low is that
you can learn it at home, for the 3high you need a good weather or a
gymnasium so it's difficult to train as often as for the 3low.
For 3low the best start is the wrap of the third diabolo, far more easier
than the throw. You need to think a lot about your timing of unwrap and
about the way you move your left hand (if your right-handed). Remenber
that for the 3low the left and the right hand are active : there's 2
differents way to do a 3 low, a synchronised way (like tony or trash, very
speed movement) or a unsynchronise way (like lena or me, slower).

Don't discourage you for the 3low, because you'll often think you'll never
be able to do it : it's wrong.

i've spent about 6-7 month for 3low

With a teacher, who spent several years ;=)


The big difference for me between learning low and high:
low - You'll take several months to do 3 catches, and then you'll improve
fast
high - the opposite

Mentally low is harder, physically high is harder, too.

I hope you've got a lot of free time...dont' have a girlfriend ;=)

There are three main ways I can think of to start 3 diabolos. I've been
attempting to learn the wrap start for a couple of months now...it's not
coming quickly. As far as the theory of it goes, you need to unwrap the
third diabolo at the instant that one diabolo is on the string and the
other is in the air. The unwrap needs to be a larger movement than if
you were entering into two with a wrap. Also, there needs to some upward
movement of the left hand at the same time as the unwrap to start the
pattern. (Assuming right handed diaboloing.) My understanding is that
the best way to learn three diabolos low on the string well is with
hundreds and likely thousands of hours of practice. Best of luck!

3 diabolos in a low shuffle : it looks cool and seems easy when you
see baptiste or trash practicing
but it's not!

I´m traing 3low for 3 weeks but it just dont work I cant unwarp the
third diabolo than catch the others two I need some help with the
time, do a need to lunch one diabolo higher than unwarp or not? any
other hint is realy welcome thnaks

I've only seen the Video of Lena doing the 3 Diabolo Rocket start to begin a
high shuffle. The animation on diabolo tricks is suppost to represent a high
shuffle although it is framed so small that the diabolos look to be in a low
shuffle. I don't know if anyone has started a low shuffle with a Rocket Start.
