For those interested in adding a musical dimension to their juggling
repertoire, or just looking for a new challenge. The Chuka Chuks website has
just launched. Free tutorial videos available. Check it out here:

"world's first juggling percussion balls!" bollocks.

Audiballs predate them by about 20 years.

Hi Paul,
Please excuse my ignorance - I was not aware of Audiballs, but thank you for
pointing this out. From the minimal information I was able to find, it sounds
like Audiballs were quite a different beast to the Chuka Chuk though. I'd be
interested in learning more about them. As far as I know, there is nothing
else currently available that is an equivalent to the Chuka Chuk. I concede
that, in principle, they may not be a world first, however, that does not
detract from the fact that they are a unique product which are readily
available for those who may be interested in exploring the rhythmical aspect
of juggling.

Wow, I've been looking for percussion balls for about 15 years and never
heard of Audiballs. thanks for
the info.
I must say, they sound more like melodic balls, rather than percussion
balls.. If that be true, then the
claim of Chuka Chuks being the world's first "juggling percussion balls,"
could in fact be slightly
removed from being bollocks? Maybe the claim should be the first juggling
shaker balls? Would that sit
better?

Trust me, there was nothing melodic about them. They weren't tuned for
starters.

They sound bloody horrible without a whole lot of technique around them either? Have you had a sniff around what our percussion balls are all about?
cheers
